Commission Terms and Conditions

Scope of Work - Details of the commission will be clearly defined with the client ahead of the commission spot being secured, including the type of artwork, size, medium, and any specific requirements or preferences outlined. These details will be discussed in the initial consultation.

Time Frame - Commission pieces can take between 4 to 6 weeks through to completion. This allows for the scope of work to be developed, artwork revisions, payments and delivery expectations. Any delays will be communicated with the client.

Payment Terms - The total cost of the commission will be agreed upon once your spot is secured and a 50% upfront deposit will be paid, issued via invoice, before commission works begin. If for some reason, you no longer wish to proceed with the commission, the 50% deposit will be issued as a credit that can be used towards current available artworks and prints on this website.

Payment options will be provided on the invoice, which include PayPal or direct deposit. If you wish to pay via credit card, this can be discussed.

Upon completion of the commission piece, clear images of the piece will be provided to the client, after which the remaining 50% of the agreed cost is to be paid. Payment request issued via invoice. Upon receiving the final payment, the commission artwork will be delivered to the client.

Revisions - Client feedback will be discussed throughout the creative process and the client will be kept up to date on progress with images. However, revisions made after the initial scope of work are agreed upon will result in additional costs.

Refund Policy - Refunds are not available for commissions. Should you no longer want to proceed with a started commission, your 50% deposit credit will be issued and the completed artwork will be available for sale on the website for other customers to purchase.

Copyright - Angie Elizabeth Art retains the copyright of the commissioned artwork. The artwork cannot be used by the client for reproduction (Example: making and selling prints of the artwork).

Delivery Insurance - If additional insurance is requested for delivery of the artwork, this will be at the expense of the client.
